COMMUNITY CENTER PATIO GARDEN

The IONS Community Center is a place where IONS Retreat Center guests gather for meals and meeting. Recently, a new outdoor patio made possible by a generous grant from Betsy Gordon in honor of her father, Benjamin Douglas Gordon, was completed.

This versatile space can seat up to 100 for a meal, act as an amphitheater for a performance, hold meetings and activities, and is a wonderful space for individual relaxation and contemplation.

Betsy Gordon envisioned a garden that blends community space seamlessly into the wild landscape. Architects huettl & thuilot were brought in to map out and manifest this vision. The results are a truly beautiful and functional space.
